Just purchased this frameset. http://www.carbonda.com/road/gravel/cfr505.html

Paid US$ 701, includes frame, fork, and seat post, custom paint job, front & rear thru axles, and shipping.

I've read some postings, mostly about building in. And some very brief reviews to the effect of "rides nice". Wondering if anyone who owns the bike can provide some deeper perspectives?

I bought this to replace a Kona Roadhouse, primarily because the Roadhouse can't fit the size tires I want, and because it's steel...heavier than I desire. I didn't mind the weight since I wanted comfort for road cycling, and I've always loved steel for road riding. But I've since purchased a Cervelo C3 and that bike is even more comfortable for road than a steel bike, and lighter as well. So...time to make some changes to my stable :)

So, anyone with experience on the Carbona CFR 505, please share! Thanks in advance!

I'm also interested in the CFR 505. A guy on another forum has one in hand, and has started a promising looking build thread.

There's a nice long thread in the Riding Gravel Forum about the Carbonda 505.

From this link: http://ridinggravel.com/forum/
Go to "Bikes", then: "Chinese Carbon Gravel Build - Carbonda"

I'm looking at one as well. Interesting geometry with quite short trail #s, and short (ish) (420mm) chainstays for a gravel bike.
