Picked up a 2017 Trek Crockett frameset and built it up. Took it for a ride and I am getting a bit of interference on the drive side with the chainstay.

I noticed some knocking on the two rides i took on it when I got to cranking pretty hard. There has been some rubbing on the chainstay and there isnt much clearance.

Running a Shimano BB71 bottom bracket with a 105 170 mm crank. It's almost like the drive side needs shimmed out, but a whole lot.

That is ~.035 to .038 in. of clearance between the crank arm and chainstay.

Picked up a wheels bb and shimmed it out a bit, no more hitting.
