Xpedo spd pedals require the use of their cleats. Shimano cleats will wear the contact points very quickly and render them useless. It's possible to modify the shimano cleats to be used with the brass colored plates that come with the pedals. Just dremel (grind off) the ends of the mounting pocket on the cleat to make space for the plates and they work fine. You may need to file down the plates a tad to get proper clearance if you use the pivoting version of the shimano cleat.

How have your rene herse tires held up? I don't know what happened but I was descending the other day and my tire blew off my MCFK rim. Not sure there was any puncture (other than to my body...), but first the front wheel exploded and then the rear wheel. Have you had any problems with keeping them on your rims?
Extra layer or two of rim tape shall solve all your issues. Happened to me too.
Yes.
Great clearance with the Hurricane Ridge tyres.

Great to hear that you have found a S-Works Crux frame.

Oooooh congrats! Exciting news. And definitely looking forward to hearing your comparison of UPPER vs. Crux - I went through the same debate and went UPPER.

Hi UP / UPPER community
Just recently got my Upper, wanted to attach my GRX group set with 46/30 chainrings to it - which resulted in a scratch because of the sharp edges of the 30 chainring...

What do you think - just a paint scratch and still save to ride?
Thanks!
