I now have a small amount of stock of Wide Garmin 500 mounts for oversize bars. These have a little more offset to get the garmin centrally mounted when running oversize stems such as the Pro Cav.

Definitely want to order one of the RWD 200/500 (right hand) mounts, but they never seem to be in stock.

Will keep checking, looks like a good product and seems more minimal than the bar fly.

Sorry about the stock issue, i have been getting so many back orders that I never seem to have any left to put in the shop for the OS 500 mounts. If you want to drop me an email I will make sure i put you onto my back orders list, should have some more stock arriving next week. The email address is sales@racewaredirect.co.uk

Got my 500 mount last week. It's solid and holds the computer tight. Nice work!

I now have stock of the wider version of the 500 mount which sits the Garmin in the centre when being used with the oversize stems such as the Pro Cav and some of the Time versions.

I have also now produced a 35mm version to work with the new super oversize 35mm DEDA bars.

Anybody used the k-edge garmin mount, does it engage cleanly (snap into place) like the original garmin mount?

Any luck on developing a 705 mount?

The right and left are the same mount, just they have the clamp on the opposite sides but still sit the garmin in the centre of the stem.

No luck on the 705 yet, sorry. I may get one done but the extra weight of a 705 s making it hard to develop a plastic mount that is strong enough while still looking good.

Yes it does snap into place like the original. It is a slightly tighter fit than the original but there is a definite click.

What do you think are the chances of the aluminum k-edge wearing out the relatively soft plastic of the Garmin over time?

I've thought of that when I got mine. It was initially very tight to twist in the computer I thought I was going to snap the plastic tabs. Even got tiny amount of plastics falling off. It's a lot smoother after using it for about month.

I have recently crash tested the RaceWareDirect edge 800 mount into an automobile at 40km/h. The bike computer did not fly off into the abiss! Cant say the same thing about its owner :beerchug:

So far I can only say good things about the product
