Does anyone make a mount to install the Garmin 500 like the PC7? I was thinking about that today as I tried to hit wattage on intervals. Looking down wasn't that cool. Just thought I would ask. thanks

They are also releasing one with the new groupset; Quarq is making a mount that will place the garmin at the same level as the pc-7.

This is coming out relatively soon: http://www.abovecategorycycling.com/shop/accessories-1/computers-mounts/bar-fly-garmin-computer-mount.html
I had a chance to take a look at it, really solid design. It's made of Delrin so it can stretch over the bars just fine. It's got the Garmin female connector dock thing built right in, so you don't have to wrap bands or anything. And the biggest benefit is that it's really sturdy. Grabbing the computer and putting force on it made it barely move, so you won't get the shaking you typically get with those round ones.

Thanks for that link, I placed a pre-order for one as it looks pretty nice and should be pretty light being made of Derlin. Always bothered me having the 500 mounted on my stems.

If it fits an 800 I'll emailing Chad, stat!
The Bar Fly looks awesome. Definitely ordering this.
ChainReactionCycles.com sell controltech and pz racing ones. Those deisgns get bolted between the stem faceplate, bars and then stem body

i have this. not lame. sturdy as hell. and weighs 64g (not saying it's light, just saying) with garmin female and rubber bands (cut). the plastic ones are the lame ones. those are not as robust.
