Has anybody tuned a Dura-Ace 7800 Rear Derailleur?
What savings could I expect if I went with a Fiber-Lyte Carbon, aftermarket pullies and a tuning kit?

Though its in German, this thread http://www.forum.light-bikes.de/showthread.php?t=16208 gives a pretty good idea of the potential. I believe he got it down to 93g. Much more than just back plates and pulleys though.

I think with just plates, pulleys, and a bolt kit you are looking at ~30g savings... or ~152g.

Here is how I got my 182 gram short cage Dura Ace rear derailleur down to 145 grams...

Dura-Ace Rear Derailleur New In Box RD-7800SS short Cage
* Alloy hanger bolt
* Alloy cable clamp bolt
* Alloy plate Axle bolt
* Jagwire carbon Rocket cable adjuster
* KCNC Ceramic Bearing jockey wheels
* Alloy mech jockey bolts
* RS P carbon outer plate
* RS P carbon inner plate
* Titanium Spring

It's not as extreme as the one pictured above, but it was also much easier.

I'm going to be going with plates & jockey wheels
(though I'll feel safer with metal than carbon for the wheels).
I'll possibly be going with a bolt kit as well.

Does anybody have OEM weight for the jockey wheels and the plates?

That German link to light bikes is fairly amazing. Just a beautiful job on the RD. Not so sure about the FD or the brakes. The thing I found funny was the amazing amount of work put into shaving 0.2g here and there on the RD and then hanging it on a bike with an Ultegra crank and with the steerer not cut down to length.
Talk about pennywise and pound foolish.

Hi there, greetings from Bandung, Indonesia.

I really interested in modified my old Dura Ace 7400 rear derailleur, I think I'm going for "Shimergo" set up with 10 speed Campagnolo shifters.

@xnavalav8r Could you inform me where can I get all the WW spare parts for this particular rear derailleur? Sometimes the keywords in searching tab doesn't work. :(

Shimergo wont work with D7400 as the cable pull differs from the othe shimano 7/8/9/10 speed road RD's.

Unless you're going for downtube friction shifters, the the DA7400 with 10 speed Campag combination will need some seriously major tweaking for it to function correctly/properly.
