I will wait and see as my order is with canada post close by - may have it today - but the pdf above was linked from the SC webpage and to me pretty clearly does not show any flat portions throughout the bend of the bar and certainly doesn't look like the OP's picture...
It's more a visual thing than feel. You can see that the curve is not continous but it's not really obvious to the hands. I can't understand why Zipp changed the curve.........it's visually off putting when you see the bar untaped. I think when someone buys a trad shape bar that's what they expect to get.

I'm pretty choked with how ergo they look - zipp should have called it the 'sorta-traditional' bend or something to distinguish them from their carbon bars that actually have a round bend. I ordered them because I want the traditional feel and look... and feel a bit misinformed. I guess we'll see how they are taped up.
