Hello out there,
I am just about to find the right stem. Has anybody an idea where on the web I can find Bill Holland products? In addition, has anybody experience with Seven stems? Can´t find anything on all the forums I´ve visited about these products.
Thanx for your help! Eric

Since you're in Germany .. have you consider the Syntace F99? The next stem I buy will be that one (I'm pretty sure). Never heard of Bill Holland products but I'm going to do a google search on them now.

As a followup to my previous message .. I'd be willing to guess others in this forum have uncovered this article but I'll post the link which concerns a Bill Holland frame lightweight bike. Have you heard of this one?

Thanks for your advice!
Indeed, I have considered the Syntace and, indeed, I think that it might be the best stem on this planet. Its ultra lightweight (109 gr/120mm) and has passed the hardest German tests. Yet, there is one problem with this stem - its the ugliest bike part I´ve ever seen. I simply can´t imagine to put it on a bike worth over 5000 bucks.
With the Holland products - I found the article you enclosed already. Still, it doesn´t link me to a site where I can learn more about the stem or even buy it. Rock Lobster only builds steel stems, Matt Chester is offline, and Sofa King doesn´t produce any stems at all and DeKerf´s bar/stem combi is simply too heavy (350 gr in midsize).
I´ve also checked forums for the Moots and the Ibis stems but people seem to have made different experiences with both. Its the same with the tune stem. In addition, I couldn´t find that much about the Exralite UL stem. I also considered Carl Strong (strongframes.com) to have built me one but he doens´t do that anymore.
So this is where I am. Experiences with Holland, Seven or Extralite UL therefore highly appreciated.

Just spoke with Posh Bikes regarding the Extralight UL and he turned me away a bit and recommended the Syntace F99. He said that he has seen a number of the Extralights break.
