That is great news as I will be ordering 2 pairs if they work as well as a pair of spindles for my egg beaters.

I have confirmation that the Spindles for the X1's will work on the X2's so I have purchased the short version and regular version.

Since this is WW do you have the weight difference between the SS spindles and the Ti spindles?

I am thinking that if you use Aluminum butterflies with ti bolts and ti spindles that you should be able to get close to the weight of the Nano's.

I have to say that Ward as a company is great. I placed my order late in the day on the west coast and they shipped them same day. Great service.

I have finally installed my Ward Ti Spindles onto two pairs of my X2's and the regular spindle length versions now have 100km on them with no issues at all and I will be trying to log some time on the Short Ti spindles in the near future.

The spindles installed so easy that I thought I had done something wrong at first but all was good.

So being weight weenies here is the important information.

SS Speedplay spindles were 51-52g each

Ti Ward spindles were 27g each for the shorter versions and 28g each for the regular versions.

My pedals with regular mounting hardward, black anodized aluminum butterflies and Ward Ti spindles weigh in at 126g for both pedals. So I am 4g lighter than the Nano pedals.

There is room for improvement as well in the weight by changing out all of the bolts to ti.

Don't forget ceramic bearings [lighter].
Where did you get the black alloy bowties?

I just had wider spindles made for Look Keo2Max (+1/4)- if this is of interest to anyone that has been running wider Speedplay spindles please contact me.
I also still have +1/4 wider Speedplay spindles.

I just bought a set of titanium axles for a set of X2 pedals, and for future reference, I'm pretty sure the "Notchy" feeling is due to a seized needle bearing on the outer side of the pedal. This was the problem with mine, anyway.

Can anyone recommend a website to order the Speedplay pedal inserts (bowties)?
Any chance to get a Ti one?

So, spindles, pedal inserts, countersunk M4 bolts... what else can i upgrade on the Zeros?
