From the middle of the US, what can I do? Can Rai on dishnetwork help? Is it on in the US and what is the coverage like. Live and hours of coverage, I need to see the Giro.

Since I don't have cable TV, etc., I would settle for live audio transmitted to the US. Does anyone know of any sites? There was one last year for the Vuelta that I listened to, but now I can't find it.

It will cost you $6. You will not get any commentary. And the weekends will only be shown on TV, not via the internet.

RAI Sports, an Italian TV channel is broadcasting at

http://fastreal.fastweb.it/raisporthigh

here are the times that I have so far for the stages:

May 7
17:00 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Prologo)

May 8
17:55 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Reggio Calabria - Tropea)

May 9
16:30 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Catanzaro - S.Maria D.Cedro)

May 10
16:50 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Diamante - Giffoni)

May 11
14:15 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Giffoni - Frosinone)

May 12
16:15 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Celano - L'Aquila)

May 13
16:50 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Viterbo - Marina di Grosseto)

May 14
16:10 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Grosseto - Pistoia)

May 15
16:20 - 88mo Giro d'Italia (Lamporecchio - Firenze)

Its in military time for the Eastern Time Zone. The first stage would be
shown at 5:00 PM Eastern time, 4 PM Central, 3 PM Mountain and 2 PM Pacific.

I watched today, but my connection was too slow, hopefully you have better luck. The cool thing is it's free!

RAI is the best source for live coverage. Everyday at about 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. I get to watch the Giro. I live in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and watch from a satelite connection. The tradeoff is no OLN. For the Tour, I get live feed fron the french station TV5. Also live and daily. Life is good.

OLNtv.com is apparently doing live internet streaming, you have to pay for it though. And, you have to be available while it is happening since its live streaming.

Dishnetwork has RAI International which shows live 3 hours pretty much every morning. Very few commercials and excitable announcers. Costs 12.99 per month for the RAI but you can cancel it after the Giro.

Click on the calendar to see times.

Downside is it may take a week or so to get Dishnetwork installed, but there's always the Vuelta later on the Spanish channels and after Lance retires you may need it for le Tour too.

OLNTV.com vs. RAI

Yes, you do have to pay for OLNTV.com Giro coverage. Not only do you get the live streaming, but you can watch the stages whenever you want.

From what I can tell with RAI, it is free, but just live. I do not speak italian.

The dishnetwork also carries OLN if you want to watch it in English on the weekends.

Does anyone know which schedule to look at for the Raisport streaming video?

Trying to convert coverage to EST (Melbourne, Australia)

Thanks Martin

British Eurosport. Don't know whether you can access it in the US.
