They should last good enough like Fibre-Lyte said but be careful when you shift so the teeths remain unsplintered.

Others than that - no problem.

Someone commented about the look of FiberLyte rings on Claviculas, well here's an example:

PS I also realize the DA7900 chain is on backwards in this photo--it's been reinstalled correctly.

Just picked up a set (50/36) for my compact AX Morpheus bb30, which has been set back to December 2010. Oh well. The rings are nice to look at

Weather in PA should be getting nice when you get your Morpehus cranks ... in May*.

I don't know. Nils told me December for the bb30 compact. We'll see. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately there is damage on my 50T chainring :(
Noticed that the shifting wasn't as good so removed the cranks for a good clean and overhall.
Found that a shifting pin had torn out :(

They've been reported to have some issues...

(For the record, I still have them on two bikes. They are light...)

Shock horror that a full carbon chainring sometimes fails. I had them. After 4000km I destroyed several teeth. When I shifted I made sure it was smoothness I don't think the rings tollerances abuse.

Absolutely. I don't shift under load regardless of the rings I'm using.

Fibre Lytes are a special product that needs to be used considerately. I chose a 51t big dog even though I like a 52t. This is to minimise the need for front shifting and it keeps me down the middle and smaller end of the cassette most of the time (less often in a gear with a bad chainline). I probably could've gone 1x with my terrain, but nice to have the small ring option.

After a year of use, I have about 5 tooth that are chipped or split down its side into half, with another 2-3 that are split open but with both sides still on. Always treated them carefully. Sometimes they shift smoothly but sometimes it'll be resting on top of the teeth first before settling down.

Bought extralite chainrings to swap it out if it ever starts to skip. Will gain 10g and peace of mind.

Hi,

I am working on some project and would like to know the structure of the carbon composite that is used to build the full carbon chainrings.

Maybe somebody have some trash to sell? I mean used / worn out full-carbon chainrings,

Thanks,
