As Mackers has said 31.8 is 1 1/4", the bar stem combo is supposed to comes with a shim to fit 1 1/8" a bit like the Syntace F119 stem,

Another stem option that i currently use is the 2016 onwards Syncros RR1.0 aerostem, as used on the Scott Foil, pretty light and stiff.

Well the bars turned up today and were well wrapped in foam although just being in plastic postal bag was a bit worrying, but they appear to be spot on.

they come with 2 x 5mm and 1 x 10 mm spacers, step down shims to 1 1/8" steerer and a moulded top cap. nice clean text and logos on them with a Canyon logo, they say H11 on the side of them. Not sure what the difference between H36 and H11 is, any one know ?

Will post up some pics and weight tomorrow.

I believe H11 is the Aeroad fit and H36 is the CF SLX fit.

Anyone of you know an online source (in Europe) for a 130mm 1 1/4 -10° pro stem? The older ones are all sold out, and the newer ones are (not yet?) available.

Giant offer a 130mm 8degree one, you should be able to get one for about £140/€160.

i've been shopping for a steam quite a bit for my Giant TCR.

Here are some lightweight options that work with a 1.25in steerer tube.

- Zipp Service Course Sl-OS
- ITM X-One
- Ritchey
- Giant SLR Contact
- Ritchey Superlogic C260
- Ritchey WCS 4-AXIS
- Shimano PRO Vibe

I think the Specialized Comp Multi Stem is designed to fit a 1-1/4" steerer if you mount it without the shims used to set different angles (when mounted to a 1-1/8" steerer).
