Can anyone comment on both of these shapes? I have tiny ass hands and according to the website the Ergosum is what I should get. The Ergonova looks similar to the other compact bars out there. Anyone have experience with either?

I bought the Ergosum to replace the FSA WingPro Compact I had, and sent it back for the Ergonova. The shapes are similar, but the Ergonova has a flat section across the top of the bar and if I'm correct, it has even less drop and reach. I've been real happy with Ergonova. I think there was just a thread about this...

There is a thread about this, but just to repeat that the Ergonova is brilliant

Yeah, more praise for the Ergonova here.

I was somewhat dubious about the flatter tops section but now having used on long climbs I really like it. The same with the compact drops, you can just ride it them all day now.

Out of curiosity, how are you guys wrapping the Ergonovas? The way the graphics are indicates that you would only part-tape them, but then the cables have no method of staying in place - are you fully wrapping them?

i prefer the ergosum

i have both bars, my issue with the ergonova is the way it flares out

the tops of the ergonova are real nice though, i wish i could combine the bend/reach of the ergosum with the tops of the ergonova

If you were on Cervelo TestTeam you could probably make that recommendation and have a new bar made just for you.

I have nothing against round bars. Just want to try something new with less drop. I'm running Newton Shallow right now and always wanted to try some sort of compact bar. Seems like most of you guys favor the Ergonova but I might have to get both and see which one I like more.

As I have a FSA Wingpro Compact what motivated you to change to the Ergonova.
