i don't have the BMC, don't know the weight but I can tell you that it is one of the best Bike in the road. There was a test in a magazine and they say that It feels very responsive, very light and stiff but not too much and also it climb very well

Funny you should ask... I just got my new BMC (I ride Bert Grabsch's bikes from the previous season). I am just sorting it out now. The first bike is last year's...

The new bike is all carbon and quite a bit lighter. Once I sort it, I'll post something.

Looks fast! What length stem are you running? It looks long. I use a 140. I have long arms.

Geoff, very nice bikes!!!

Are those ADA wheels on your 2004 BMC (i see yellow spokes, so they can not be LW)? Are they good (ADA)?

The stems are nominally 120mm, but they measure more like 125mm. The bikes are semi-sloping with a 50cm seattube and 56.5mm toptube (measured c-to-c). Most pro's run really long toptube/stem combinations. All I do with Bert's bikes is change the bars to 40's, otherwise he and I ride exactly the same bike geometry.

The wheels are ADA's.

Cyclingnews has an article posted on Floyd Landis's BMC STL01 for those interested in this bike.
