Bont shoes

My Bont double wide's just arrived - and they feel great so far - but only sitting at my desk. Swapped my cleats over just now so snapped a picture which clearly shows the shape difference from a wide Shimano - which aren't really wide at all, just higher volume. The Shimano are a 44.5W and the Bont 45W but the length is really close.
These also have a different insole than the regular ones - it's much thicker.

I'm left handed, if that matters.

Did you asked those directly from Bont?kdawg wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 11:00 pmMy Bont double wide's just arrived - and they feel great so far - but only sitting at my desk. I ordered 2 months ago with the same lead time and had them in like 2 weeks tops.

Paid on august 8th, delivered on 12th (to Finland).
Really liking these 44,5W mtb Riot+, feel almost same as my 44W road Riot+, why 44W mtb riot+ did not quite work I do not know.
So after having my regular fit bonts and moulding them 20x to get them perfect. I ordered a pair of Asian fits. Wow, just what I needed. Had to adjust one spot, if you need a wide toe box and a slim heal cup these are worth getting. Just ordered a third semi custom pair... for reference my order took 5 weeks
Really just depends what’s in stock in the warehouses around the world.

Expect 6-8 weeks usually. Patience is key.

Yes, came from China and the delivery wasn't too long - I think it was just about 3 weeks.naavt wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 12:33 pmDid you asked those directly from Bont?kdawg wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 11:00 pmMy Bont double wide's just arrived - and they feel great so far - but only sitting at my desk. That relaxed foot position looks comfy!cberg wrote:Received my Vaypor S holograms, 6 weeks from order to delivery.
Size 44.5 wide insole is about the same length as the ones I had in my 43 wide S-phyres, but the shape is clearly different

Can you measure the insole on the Bont 44.5 W?
Am thinking about getting back into Bont after having the vaypor+ a few years ago. But those were a bit tight. So may go up to 44.5 W Or 45 reg.
If anyone else has a 45 reg can you measure the insole?
length and width**
Thanks.

+1 to this, and with the bathtub shape of Bont's soles it's much more important than with other shoes. When you measure your foot size per Bont's guide, be sure to A) put ALL of your weight on the foot you're measuring, and B) if you're within 2-3 MM of the wide, then go with the wide. You'll be glad you did!
