Height: 179cm
Legs: 82cm
Saddle Height: 71cm (This is abnormally low saddle height for someone of my height. My cleats are slammed rearwards though...)
Short leg boy with lots of head sticking out. Size 56 with reach 393mm with 120mm usually fits me like a glove.
Horizontal tube bikes don't fit me at all as my seat post will be sticking out too less. It's unfortunate. I'd love to be able to ride an aero bike that is of my size.
Because of my torso length I also need a longer wheel base otherwise it always feels like I'm tipping over.

Height: 189cm
Legs: 92cm
Saddle Height to top of saddle mid point: 83cm
Always thought I had proportionately long legs but at .487 ratio not much more than average here
Also the inseam -9cm rule is exactly right for me! Wish I'd known about that years ago.
Bar to saddle drop is 18-19 cm! depending on bike

exactly what size and model bike do you use (stem length + how much spacer under the stem) ? thank you.
I'm: 185 cm, inseam: 92.5cm. I would like to buy Cube Agree c62 in 58 size bicycle. Do you think it would be okay?
I tried a Merida Scultura in size L.
575 ttube + 572 stack 400 reach + 120mm stem, 73 degree seat tube angle, it was big. I had to stretch a lot, it wasn't good for 60 km.
Then I rode on another roadbike, it was 560 ttube, 563 stack + 388 reach, 73 degree seat tube angle, it was much better, I was more confident on it. I also drove 60 km with it. The drop was a bit much and the handlebar was a bit close.
The Agree C62 in 58 size: 575 ttube + 591 stack, 393 reach, 100mm stem + 72.5 degree head tube angle 73 deg. seat tube angle.

Fairly sure that's a normal seat height for your inseam...MagicShite wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 1:17 pmHeight: 179cm

Yeah. I said for my "height". I measured my seatpost height and it's actually 70cm. I run a setback about 7.5cmEterna7m wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 5:06 amFairly sure that's a normal seat height for your inseam...MagicShite wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 1:17 pmHeight: 179cm

EDIT: It's a shame cause I can't even ride most size 56cms. Most of them have seat tubes way longer than 520mm (which is about the limit of enough exposed seatpost I'm comfortable with)

Say it right away, sorry for ranting
If i really stand straight i am 182cm, but i sag so effective posture would be 181-181.5cm
Wingspan 184cm.
Inseam with a 5cm wide tool is 77.4cm.
Inseam with a 2cm wide tool is 88.5cm.
Measured with a fixing device and level tools.
Shoulder width 42cm (tip to tip)
I have 28-285mm long feets (46-46.5 sized shoes) which actually affect saddle height pending on how you mount cleats and possibly shims.
(I have an asymmetrical posture, so i need longer q-factor on right leg and also a few mm of shims)
Saddle to bar 12.5cm.
Saddle height 78cm.
Reach (bike reach: 380mm + cockpit reach as by manufacturer: 130mm+75mm)
Saddle set back with Pro Aerofuel is 8cm.
But saddle set back is a bit questionable as it changes pending on saddle/ saddle design.
Just ride ISM and a short nose saddle and you get a difference which is whopping.

One of the worst aspects of my 56cm Madone is how I can't get as low as I want in a supertuck because of the TT. My 54cm Domane RSL is so much better in this regard. My 54cm Emonda SLR H1 is even better still.
Height: 178 cm
Inseam: 87 cm
I/H Ratio: 0.49
Foot: 27 cm
Shin: 43 cm
Cleats: slammed back
Saddle Height: 77.8 - 78.3 cm depending on bike
Saddle to Bar Drop: 8-13.5 cm depending on bike
Saddle to Bar Centre: 58-60 cm depending on bike
Saddle to Hoods: 65-68 cm depending on bike
Specialized sizing app puts me on a 56 with 78.6 cm saddle height, which isn't far off. My bikes are sizes M, L, 54, and 56 with TTe 55 being the sweet spot. Cranks are usually 172.5 mm and I use standard length saddles.

Is it due to difference in shoes aswell/ or pedal and cleat stack?
Or is it due to saddle sag?
Folks here forget one thing to!
Saddle Stiff shell VS flexible shell. If you load the shell it sags, all saddle does to some degree.
My saddle i have now, is reinforced both X and Y plane.
I really have problems with saddle with sag/ flex, also tail up or sloping to much right/left.
Wide saddles as ISM also require lower saddle height.

It's a pity because it makes it harder to ask you about handling of the bikes. I have used to small and to large bikes. I currently have one shelved, because it's too high and too long. It was custom back when i was stupid enough to listen to the man who made the bike.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 7:42 amMagicShite wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 6:54 am
