Huret Rear Mech

Does anyone know anything about the Huret rear mechs like the one on the M2 Racer light bike? Is it lighter than something like a tuned Campy Record mech? Why was it used?

i think there is a weight breakdown somewhere. Madcow is pretty fanatical, so I will assume it was much lighter or he wouldn't have used it.

I just checked ebay & according to this auction

it only weighs 140g, but there are certainly lighter pulleys available.

Isn't that cage from old record? Like early 90's or something I believe, I think Sprinter uses it on his bike because the cage is lighter than the current Campy Record cage. Not sure about the rest of the derailleur, but I'd gues it would be light, as theres not much shielding for the components.
