i think there is a weight breakdown somewhere. Madcow is pretty fanatical, so I will assume it was much lighter or he wouldn't have used it.

Isn't that cage from old record? Like early 90's or something I believe, I think Sprinter uses it on his bike because the cage is lighter than the current Campy Record cage. Not sure about the rest of the derailleur, but I'd gues it would be light, as theres not much shielding for the components.
