A friend with a 91cm inseam (used to 175s) was put on a computrainer the other night and we swaped his cranks between his 175s and a pair of 180s.

With no adaptation time his power output would go up 11 watts with no increase in heart rate when switching to the 180s.

The cranks were swaped so we had 5 readings on the 175s interspersed with 5 readings on the 180s. He is now riding the 180s and we will be trying the testing again once some adaption has taken place and try the testing again.
Success is how far you you bounce back up after being knocked down

Be sure they are Octalink and not the older square version. I know that there are a few people in holland that try to sell the old version in 180 mm. Consider the fact that the longer the cranks the harder they suffer and after my experience cranks in 177.5 mm + are best bought new (da 180 mm sold for 199 Euros)

New DA for 199? Where?

Thanks for the advice. Anyway I won't let them be shipped by mail, I'll pick them up personally and see if they still look good.....
