Look like no Giro Ionos for a good while!

Sadly, I gather that the new Giro Ionos didn't pass crash testing for retail sale ( kinda makes you wonder how they put it on riders' heads at the TdF). I guess that's why we have seen all the Giro sponsored riders revert to the Atmos.

I wonder what that will do for Giro sales in the US, at least. I have checked a lot of online retailers and all of them are VERY low on stock in the Atmos. Earlier in the summer many of them had it on sale! I guess they are going to have to restock!

I heard from Giro in Ireland that at best we are looking at next August before we see it offered for sale.

Anyone else have any further insight?
