M2 Racer Orb I pedal
Moderator: robbosmans
I bit and picked up a pair of m2 racer orb I pedals on ebay-- just wondering if anyone knows how they compare to the orb II's before I make a switch and try to find more cleats.
Anyone know if the company who's taking over those pedals will continue to make replacement cleats for the I's as well as the II's?
thanks

I have owned both the Orb1 and Orb2 pedals, the orb2 supposed to be an improvement on Orb1 and gives you a more solid engagement; I personally like and use the Orb 1 more because I found it a lot easier to disengage in comparison to the Orb2 which I still have to play around before I can get my cleats off.

Any further information on the company you mention as taking over production of M2 Racer Orb pedals?

I didnt think anyone was taking over - M2 racer stated on their closure that they were looking to reopen when it was more financially viable (basically, when aerobus took a jump)

someone has to pick that up-- it's too good a design to leave dormant

Their website shows that the M2 Racer Orb II cleats are sold out, however you can put yourself on a list for email notification when they do come in. Hmmm, I wonder if something behind the scenes is taking place.

I couldn't locate the email notification.
Could you post a link to mit?
Thanks!

On the right hand side is a box to register for notifications on updates of the M2 Racer Orb 2 cleat.
However, the more I think about it, that may just be a "canned" response to whenever something is out of stock.
