Hi, So the 10 speed DA Bottom bracket has outboard bearings.
Does anyone know if these need to be regularly tightened after certain amount of time/use?

I know the instructions advise that the bolts for the left crank arm should be tightened every so often, but does it apply to the BB as well?
If it does need to be re-tightened, do I need to remove the cranks or can I do it with the cranks in place.

Thanks.

You should not have to tighten the BB cups after a certain amount of riding.

Of course if the BB has been recently installed it makes sense to check that it is still tight, ie that nothing is wrong, however this can be done with the cranks still installed but simply checking the torque already applied to the crank....don't add any more.
