Help me design my new Pina!
Moderator: robbosmans
I just got confirmation, the custom paint program is called "My Way", it will only be available on the Dogma FPX and Paris Carbon, you get to choose your colors on the existing paint scheme from a pallette of 20 colors. I don't yet know what those colors are.
Argghhhh.... you beat me to it again Nex. How about we do it "our way"

It's a constant race with you and I, isn't it? It's good that we're friendly about it!

There's only 1 scheme, you just get to chose what colors go on the scheme.
I think its great Fausto has listened to customers. The colours of the new FPX have been discussed extensively on this thread http://fairwheelbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 and whilst nobody seemed to have a problem with the overall scheme (I love it), colour and the use of it in certain places did cause some concerns.
In any case I'd say a guy shelling out £2,700 for a Dogma FPX needs to have a little input into what hes getting with all the other total custom options out there. Well done Pinarello!

That's not very custom!

With 3 different places to choose a color, and 20 colors to choose from, there are 80,000 combinations possible. I'd say that's pretty custom.

That's freaking awesome!

Caught me, 1 too many zeros!
Still, 8000 combinations when you're talking about a frame that probably doesn't have half of that number in worldwide distribution...

Now the guys at the factory just have to recognise that when someone asks for red, they actually mean red.....not blue and you had better take it and LIKE IT
Maybe this will turn out to be "Their Way" after all
