Hello,
My girlfriend's bike is S-Works SL6 rim brakes with D shaped seatpost. The problem is that it has 1 bolt clamp design which we find terrible for experimeting and small adjustments (you loosen the bolt just a bit - it's hard to move smoothly, you loose it too much - it's completely loose and you start from scratch). Is it possible to buy a compatible seatpost with a standard 2 bolt design (like in Aethos or apparently SL8)?
I know it sounds like a minor problem but it's frustrating enough for us that we want to buy a replacement one.
Have you heard of any options?

Darimo if you want to spend a ton of money and have an equally as fiddly system... Hylix(chinese carbon company with decent seatpost history) also made a two bolt SL6 seatpost, although seeing as that bike is two generations old now, it might be harder to track down a new one.

I own the darimo. Good but very expensive and a bit odd with its strings and max torque of 3Nm so not something to be playing with tons of field adjustments on. Also Darimo has had more than a few quality issues as of late and they suck to order directly so its best to go through R2 or some other intermediary and wait 3 months or so for it to be custom made. Basically I like mine but I certainly wouldnt blanket recommend it.

I think the key part of OP's opening post is that this is for their GF's bike. Their GF almost certainly doesn't care about weight as obsessively as we do. You just want something that works. For this use case I certaintly wouldn't recommend the darimo.

Thank you for linking that one! It's a beatiful build. My gf doesn't care about weight that much but we will try to get the bike to 6.8kg limit at some point as she plans to race sometimes (The main reason it's not there yet is ultegra with 11-34 casette and aluminium wheels we really like - Fulcrum Racing Zero Night).justinfoxphotos listed a more compelling standard adjustment option in his build
