Campa 11s front derailleur compatibility

Hi

I run 11s SR groupset 2011-2014 and wonder if front derailleur from 2015+ will work with this setup.
Anyone has tried ?

I wouldn't have thought so, the designs are pretty different. I don't have any practical knowledge though.

Thinking out loud..never really tried.. spacing between chainrings is usually the same irrelevant of nbr of speed. I would think 10-11-12-13 are all compatible no. Coming from a guy that is going 1x . Now I know that the thickness of the chain will vary but I guess the triming and adjusments would take care of this. interesting what someone else with real knowledge says.

That works just fine, I did it myself and didn't have any problems.
