So what is your opinion on both of these cranks? I have read through all of the crank options recently discussed on here or that are "trendy" for weight weenies and it seems like these two are the forums favorites. Which one looks better? Which one performs better? Cybrei complete crankset or Elilee + Shimano or Carbon Ti chainrings?

Let's talk :)

Can't speak to Cybrei but it was on my short list of cranks. I ultimely went with Elilee X320 with the decrotive spider to pair along with DuraAce chainrings. No issues thus far.

that's great to your! I was pretty set on Cybrei myself, but the X310 dub and carbon spider just looks soooo clean so I'll probably go with that for my new Aethos build

How are the shifting performance of the Cybrei carbon chainrings? Or perhaps is Carbon Ti better than Cybrei?

I don't have any personal experience with it, but from what I have read online, nothing is as good as Shimano itself. That being said, Hyperglide (Shimano's technology) is more important when it comes to the cassette and shifting on the chainrings is only marginally worse than OG Shimano but still really really good.

I don't think there is a big difference between Cybrei, Carbon Ti, etc. It's more like Shimano vs everything else 3rd party... but maybe someone with personal experience can chime in? :)

Personal preference but I'd rather run a 3rd party crank then deal with Shimano's history of cranks. If you want the great shifting then pair the crank with Shimano chainrings and cassettes.

I think many of these similar cranks are just using the similar if not the same public mold, It is a very mature solutions now. Only small alterations done in different fatories in China, maybe even the factories are located in the same street who knows...
In short, whichever looks the best to you, choose that. I don't think there would be a noticeable difference.

Not to bad mouth both of these cranks but why???
Especially Cybrei is not cheap.

I bought SRAM red axs E1 in 160mm it weighs 307 grams.

With Sigeyi power meter spider 101 grams and Carbon Ti chainrings, plus 8 grams for the bolts /8bolt interface/my crank weights 549grams with power meter.

And I got the SRAM with discount so no brainer to me.

These make most sense with 24mm spindle size, to slot in as a straightforward Shimano crank replacement. Not sure if it's possible to easily mount Shimano chainrings and keep the same 12s chainline though.

Sounds nice, but I prefer Shimano and don't want to mix it with Sram cranks - as of right now I'm going for Elilee + Carbon Ti and the final weight of the build should be around 5.5kg :) can't wait
