Catching up on the post(s) in the "2024 product release rumors" thread as the one above from alanyu, I think this bike deserves its own thread.alanyu wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 1:11 pmIncolor Intropy:
54 size, SS+ model, 720g, SS model 785g.
Tested in Silverstone, 3 W faster than SL8 both w/ and w/o rider.
Their specific aero bottle system (similar tp SSE system) is claimed to be another 3-8 W gain according to CFD.
Stiffness on par with SSE gen 4.
No mention of comfort, but according to some team members, the prototype was on the harsh side.
Modern geo with long FC, large BBdrop, and short chainstay. Up to 38C

You can read up on the Intropy Speedster SS and SS+ for instance on CyclingChina.net
Some claimed key points:
- Frame weight 720g
- benchmark stiffness
- excellent aero performance: Quicker than the Tarmac SL8 and just slightly slower than Cervelo's S5
- Tire clearance: 38mm
- UDH hanger
- Integrated Di2 battery compartment underneath the BB
- for us German folks arguably not the smartest model abbrevation
Ordered upon release I now received my Intropy Speedster SS+ frameset in the limited Starry Sky paintjob.
Communication has been really excellent, very nice and quick (via WeChat). They have also been that nice to set up a PayPal account for me as for whatever reason I was not able to pay neither via WeChat nor AliPay.
Frame is a size 51, bar/stem 355/380 x 130mm
Packaging was nicely made, frame and parts held in place by Velcro straps.
Paint job is executed exceptionally well - no wonders as this is their original expertise-, but probably rather thick (the clear coat already looks pretty substantial).
Weights therefore probably are not quite representative, anyhow:
Frame: 933.0g (incl. hangers)
Fork: 449.5g
Bar/stem: 387.5g
Seatpost: 143.1g
