New-ish Aeroad 2025
Moderator: robbosmans
late respons, wasn't at home. Here's 2 pic's, the valves are 60 but Schwalbe's, on my other bikes i have muc off valves, my mistake.
Thank you, got some 60mm from Dynamic installed already. I guess it's bare minimum, but my both pumps do work with it

Right, but 65mm valves are quite rare. And with 60mm I am not running any risk of bending or braking the valve/core now. Looks great and works well both with the hand, floor and electrical pums I've got.
If anyone is curious about new Wahoo Ace - it should fit Aeroad stock mount (based on https://velo.outsideonline.com/road/roa ... -computer/):

Finished my 'build'. I wanted an Ultegra build but with groupset prices as they are at the moment (full Ultegra 8100 for less than £1200 new) it made more sense to get the SLX 7 AXS and swap out the groupset and wheels. Plus, I love tinkering with stuff and making it my own, so the prospect of getting a bike, completely stripping it and re-building with a few upgrades is almost as exciting as riding it for me. All in after selling the Sram groupset and DT Swiss wheels it's cost me just under £4800, which I think is pretty good compared to a) any other 'premium' brand on the market, and b) the stock Ultegra build from Canyon at £5999 (before box, shipping etc). The only thing to consider when comparing to the SLX 8, is that comes with a PM (which I didn't need), but the price difference is still big enough that you could buy whatever one you wanted any still be better off.

I've managed one short spin on it, thanks British winter
I have been able to get some time on it on the trainer though, so I know the fit is good. It's my first bike for ~5 years with Shimano, so I was a bit concerned about the fit given all the differing shifter lengths, but it feels spot on so that's a releif!

To be fair, that price difference seems about right when removing a PM and having Chinese wheels instead of DT. I wouldn't consider that better value for money (but saving money nonetheless).
