Comparing to the GC Performance video it seems, seatpost aside, that the White is a lighter option than the Chronos (unpainted seatpost on the Chronos).
A pearl white size 52 S-Works SL8 is 740g, so in a larger size and with a painted seatpost I don't think the weight is too bad at all. There is a bit lost in the fork, but some made up with lightweight bolts, thru axcles and seatpost hardware (with even lighter titanium options available next year)

I'm trying to decide between a size MR and LR. With the MR I would need 2cm of spacers and a 130mm stem. With the LR, I could slam a 120mm stem to get the same stack height.
The LR appeals to me because of the longer front-centre, as I ride stretched out, and no toe overlap that I get on my current 54cm frames. But at 177cm, getting a "large" frame feels weird. Any advice?

Wouldn't get bogged down on semantics. What Seka calls an XL is effectively a slightly relaxed 58*. And LR is pretty much a 56, so maybe a "medium plus" frame, if you will.northshore wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 10:15 pmI'm trying to decide between a size MR and LR. *For reference, a Supersix 58 has a stack of 595 (if I recall off the top of my head), whilst the Spear XL is around 600.

Not informed advice but a) assume you've clocked that as a minimum you have to have the 10mm headset cover (assuming you use theirs); b) given you'll have 20mm less seetpost on the LR, maybe worth considering implications, if only for aesthetic reasons. +/-20mm is unlikely to shift the dial I imagine, unless you've got exceptionally short legs and very long arms for eg.
Be well impressed if you noticed the 0.1 degree difference in seat angle!
You could eat up a some 'good' time on bikegeocalc playing around with visual comparisons if you know the geometry+bike fit calculations of your favourite bike and set-up

My own build is somewhat delayed. I never allow enough time to sort brakes![🤣](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f923.svg)
