Yes, i e been using them on a bike for the past few months. I like them. Not exactly light weight but they hold a bottle securely, look great and might be 00.1w more aero.BeachRdWarrior wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 10:58 amHas anyone used the giant aero bottle cages from AE?

Current awaiting an order for another 5 to fit to other bikes.

Oh nice! Thanks for the info on teh giant cages.
Has anyone come across AE versions of the new Factor Ostro 2.0 cages? that would be pretty cool!

I strongly doubt any generic carbon/alloy wheelsets exist, and if they do they won't be anywhere near HED. They were pretty much the only company doing that back in the rim brake era, and there's less than zero profit for any Chinese company looking to develop a competitor, so no one will. Even the full-carbon rim brake rims from such companies aren't being updated any more.
There is a set of Jet 6 rear + Jet 6 Black front wheel on ebay right now for a pretty reasonable price: https://www.ebay.com/itm/326272027478 + https://www.ebay.com/itm/326272018954
Nah bro, this is AliX - Control+C on a mature wheel design. No development needed, that's why I'm looking at lower cost offerings. If it was 2011 I'd go back to my Hed Jet 60s, which I'm annoyed I sold.
There are some out there: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204966588327?_ ... EEFJWDEMH6
But I don't know the provenance of this particular brand.
Huh, I stand corrected - at least somewhat, considering the extremely outdated rim dimensions - but having no manufacturer info + some weird claims in the description (180 kgf max spoke tension???? I don't think so) doesn't make a strong case for that particular set.Matt28NJ wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 3:21 pmThere are some out there: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204966588327?_ ... EEFJWDEMH6

But what's the business case here? It's a niche product on a niche market already. If you're coming into the wheel market rim brake wheels aren't exactly where I'd start. And if I did it definitely wouldn't be aluminium with carbon fairing wheels. Either the cheapest possible aluminium wheels or high end full carbon.Matt28NJ wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 3:21 pmNah bro, this is AliX - Control+C on a mature wheel design. This is nothing like the jet nonstructural fairing design, these have a Zipp-style structural carbon fairing bonded to the alu hoop--it's a design that's heavier and susceptible to catastrophic failure, while a fairing debonding on the Jet will never cause the wheel to fall apart.Matt28NJ wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 3:21 pmNah bro, this is AliX - Control+C on a mature wheel design. HED Jet is probably one of the designs less likely to have been copied, all those Jet rims were produced in Minnesota so the design would have been less convenient to copy since the original molds never made it to China.

Has anyone used Pass Quest or Stone chainrings for Sram AXS road 2x? (I mean those fitting BCD107 with normal Sram combinations, e.g. 46/33 or 48/35)
I want to use spider-based powermeter and don't like how the Force AXS chainrings look like with the plastic cover...
