The difference is really in the logo coloring... both silvers are pretty simialr, but in the 2023 model, the logos are simply gloss vs. the satin frame. They are essentially invilsible and I'm guessing that Specialized wanted more visibility.. so they added a bit of black tint for the 2024 model year. On my 2023, they are literally invisible unless you're inces from the frame with light hitting the right angle.gurk700 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 11:23 pmHey there. Can anyone tell me the difference between these two colors? I believe the second one is current and first one is previous year but I don't know what the difference is to the naked eye. Official photos don't tell me much.

Thanks for both answers! Glad the silvers aren't different. Looks like a 2023 silver and custom logos on my horizon as well.CrankAddictsRich wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 2:33 amThe difference is really in the logo coloring... both silvers are pretty simialr, but in the 2023 model, the logos are simply gloss vs. the satin frame. Don't quote me that the silvers aren't different... they must be slightly different because Specialized is labeling them differently, but I think to the normal person, they look the same.gurk700 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 10:19 amThanks for both answers! Newer one seems a little darker from most photos but not so different that it would change my mind. The 2023 is the only one I can find in stock so I went for it. Seeing yours helped the decisionCrankAddictsRich wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 12:29 pmDon't get me that the silvers aren't different... they must be slightly different because Specialized is labeling them differently, but I think to the normal person, they look the same.gurk700 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 10:19 amThanks for both answers! PS: Hah! Spoke too soon. They cancelled my order and said stock info was not correct. Found a 2024 in Chicago and got that one though and equally happy

Bang on! I stumbled upon that and thought I'd buy one and give it a go. It's made of rubber and the rubber plugs do line up well with the holes left over from the braze-on mount. There was an extra bit of rubber between the plugs that I had to shave off for it to fit flush, but well worth the hassle as I'm happy with the end result.

Could you please post a closeup of the headset top cap conversion to the sl7 stem?
I'm about to pull a trigger on a size 49 frame. Btw what saddle high do you use? Just for me to get a perception of how it will look mine.
Thanks!
