I want to give the nimbl shoes a shot not really satisfied with my s-phyres and s-works torch shoes but have a hard time deciding between the their different models.
Curiously none of the pros appear to be riding the new Ultimate Glide.
Does anyone have any feedback on what the pros/cons are for the Exceed/Ultimate/Glide?
I just went and tried both models on they don't fit even close to the same. The Glides seemed to me narrower and the heel cup isn't quite as tight. I tried 45 in both and the Glides seem like a size or half a size larger. Mike's Bikes carries them now and they have a pretty decent return policy so you might be able to order them and try them and send them back if they don't work. For reference I've got five pairs of bont wides the ultimate seem to fit very similar in the tow box but the side of the shoe near the midfoot was too tight for me as they have a rear bathtub like the bonts that starts near the mod foot. I have a wider mid foot on my right foot and they were just slightly too tight. The bottom of the shoe where the cleat is, the Glides have a built up platform the ultimates don't. They don't show that in the picture on their website though they do show the Glides bottom which is different from the ultimate . Shame because they are super nice.

I’m surprised multiple people have complained about the flimsy footbeds. Nimbls have a lot of arch support built into the tub/sole itself. The stock footbed is basically flat with no structure on purpose. I tried my custom carbon footbeds and several off-the-shelf medium arch models and it resulted in cartoonish levels of arch support. In the end once I wore out the original footbeds, I just used Tread Labs Dash Thin covers without the carbon arch pieces and that has worked best for me.

I ended up reverting back to the standard footbeds. The arch was a bit much with the retul beds. The shoe is even more comfortable now.
