I mean its made in vietnam but surely they designed them and have recommandations regarding how to arrange carbon no ?
Also i'm curious in switzerland the rcr pro ultegra di2 has Swiss Side Hadron² 500 Classic but in france the same model has shimano Ultegra C36 wheels which are 150g lighter. Which one are the best tho ? The swiss side are aero and seems just superior
Carbon layout is mainly determined by the factory. Decathlon determines the shape, tells the intial weight and stiffness target, while the factory does first few itinerations trying to approach the target, and give feedbacks and negotiate the target numbers with Decathlon, so the procedure goes on again until Decathlon says OK.
Only a few big brands who have their own carbon factory have good experience and give instruction on optimization of the layout.

Yeah but i think no one has input on if they did or not do that. I'm sure they have the ressources to recommand stuff but i guess we would need a frame teardown for it

Just passed by my local Decathlon and they had few RCRs including the WT bike.
I had seen and riden one of the rider’s bike but never saw the ones sold to the public. The bike was unfortunately quite dirty so the paint doesn't "pop" that much but they clearly put a lot of thought in the paint used to save weight: while the "black part" of the frame is raw carbon, the middle part of the tubes allow you to see the fiber in transparency if the light hit at the good angle... quite nice.

Does anyone know anything about frame kit availability in Europe? I asked a local Decathlon employee but he didn't even have a clue what I was talking about.
There seems to be Van Rysel RCR frame kit available in US but not in any EU decathlon location...

This is on the Decathlon UK app:
They also state that the frame weighs 790gms in M & the fork weighs 380gms

Got my hands on the RCR Sram Force.
Changed tubes for Revoloop Race, saddle for Selle Italia SLR boost TI316 rails and tape for Lizard Skins 1.8. With Xpedo Thrust SL Ti pedals, Elite superleggero bottle cages and Garmin mount for Deda superbox stem, garmin speed sensor it weighs exactly 7.83 kg in size S.
Wonderful bike. What is your height and inseam? thanks
