Can you run DA Chainrings with the Cybei cranks?

Anyone have the Cybrei carbon or Alu chainrings with DA.

I have 54/40 DA but they only seem to offer 54/38T.
Obviously they will not be a smooth as DA but anyone's thoughts on shifting performance would be appreciated?
May just go Carbon Ti

I believe that most of the Skypivot, Eliee and Cybrei style cranks that are dub axle, are designed to be used with out a drive side spacer. I have a BBinfinite setup in my Tarmac and had to sand 2mm off the drive side insert to get the chain line and Q factor to be correct. The BBinfinite set up is designed to use no spacers on a Sram crank.
After removing 2mm off of the drive side spacer you was able to get the 44.5mm Cybrei chainline? I have the same bottom bracket and could not get it to work as it would bind with zero preload when torqued. Ended up using a Sram dub bb with a 0.5mm spacer on the drive side until I could get it sorted out with the BBInfinite.

Yup, Not sure exactly how much I sanded off, but it works perfectly. I have the BBinfinate steel bearings and it spins better than my friends Ceramicspeed BBs.

Concur - my friend has had the CeramicSpeeds going rough after 1 season, where as the BB Infinite steel bearings - far out lasts and remains smooth outlasting all of this CS BB’s, Ryan seems to be a fan of them as well.

CS bottom brackets aren't particularly maintenance free. They need washing out and regreasing regularly.

Their warranty is pretty good though. They replaced my BB without too much bother when it started going rough, despite maintenance every 3 months or so.

Responding to this thread to get updates.

With the death of Stages, I'm really worried about the continued long term use of all of the left side PM's I have. I also would love to keep my DA and Ultegra chainrings and shifting and at the same time, maybe lose a few grams.

I am giving their chain rings a try.
Was looking for an alternative to the Carbon-Ti rings - had a set that delaminated on me, admittedly some years ago, but not so sold on the carbon ring with attached alu teeth and considered the alu Cybrei ring with carbon reinforcement the possibly better concept.

FWIW if looking for them in Europe, I got them from this shop in France Peloton GP - got nothing to do with the shop, but they were really great in sending status updates.

Anyhow had not been on round rings for the last ~200,000km, so cannot compare too well to other rings (maybe except to Rotor from the Gravel bike).
Shifting seemed fine on today's century, quality seems nice. Time will probably tell.

Have gone ahead to order a 54/38T for the first bike as well now.

52/36 impressions as below, weight 151.0g/set:

Obviously they will not be a smooth as DA but anyone's thoughts on shifting performance would be appreciated?
May just go Carbon Ti
I have been using the 54/38 carbon chainrings for around 4-5k km and they have been faultless. Racing on them, they have not missed a shift although it is worth mentioning the shifting, aswell as general pedaling with a DA chain, has been a tad noisier then Shimano chainrings. Image

Thats great thansk for that.
I did swap my old CS OSPW to the new RS version and the drivetrain, well it was basically silent!
Anyway a bit of chain noise is no big deal when the crank looks that good

Apologies if this has already been answered but is there a spider for this that fits well with Shimano chainrings?

Yes but I'm asking if there's a spider or spider cover that fits nicely with Shimano chainrings like the one for the elilee chainset.
