I am giving their chain rings a try.
Was looking for an alternative to the Carbon-Ti rings - had a set that delaminated on me, admittedly some years ago, but not so sold on the carbon ring with attached alu teeth and considered the alu Cybrei ring with carbon reinforcement the possibly better concept.

FWIW if looking for them in Europe, I got them from this shop in France Peloton GP - got nothing to do with the shop, but they were really great in sending status updates.

Anyhow had not been on round rings for the last ~200,000km, so cannot compare too well to other rings (maybe except to Rotor from the Gravel bike).
Shifting seemed fine on today's century, quality seems nice. Time will probably tell.

Have gone ahead to order a 54/38T for the first bike as well now.

52/36 impressions as below, weight 151.0g/set:

Let me known the weight of the 54/38 but i suspect they will be around 161g ish

Anyone tried to remove their crankset?

I assume it's the same as Rotor, etc. undo the main bolt and keep going and allow it to self extract from the axle.

On mine, I undo the main bolt, and it is then easy to undo for a while until it hits the extractor cap. It then becomes extremely tight and doesn't really want to move.

I am afraid of stripping something if I go much harder. Anyone tried this?

@cyclespeed==> I have seen your videos: cybrei and rotor aldhu. Which crankset would you buy if you could select? What is your experience after some month? I am building a sl8 and considering both options

no problems with that shop? I was thinking about it, but i'm hestitating a bit, they have nothing in stock (everything pre-order), prices are 'good' and web page exists for not that long .... just looks like a scam...

Asked the user exactly the same in a private message but didn't receive an answer. Looks like scam to me, too

That webpage looks very similar to pandapodium. Too similar for my taste

I am riding the rotor aldhu crankset for a couple years now.
The crankset itself is solid and nothing bad can be said about it.
The thing that I don't like too much about it is that it's a 30mm spindle and it really restricts you a lot in the BBs that you can use.
And there is not many that have an inner sleeve, which i find important.
I think having the DUB standard is at least slightly better.
But I spoke to Cybrei and they are releasing a 24mm version later this year.
I'll be waiting for that one to get released. Or I'll jump onto the Elilee one, if there is some good discounts on Aliexpress at some point during 11/11, Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

PS. one addition:
You can also run Shimano chainrings with the Cybrei and Elilee ones. I don't think it's possible with Rotor

That's an interesting development, the material they choose for the spindle is key.

You’re looking at November or December for the ti axle Cybrei.

If you’d like one, you can be added to the waiting list. Just let me know.

Thanks for the link. Will these rings fit well with 9100 DA cranks? I’m curious how shifting would compare to my current rotor aero rings.

The 24mm ti spindle version is available to purchase. I think this verion looks a lot better without the decals!
Their chainrings seem kinda heavy though 🤔 Don't think I'd save any weight swapping my Cannondale SISL cranks and spidering to this, it's probably heavier.

Also this is a Lexon crankset not a Cybrei
