I'm about 6'2" with long legs and arms, saddle height is 32 3/8" from center of bb to the top of the saddle. Size 58 cm. Momo stem length is 120, I wish they made a 130 but it still fits good.
Thanks for sharing! Looks great with the momo bars, shame they're so hard to get in europe!ridenfish39 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 12:53 pmI'm about 6'2" with long legs and arms, saddle height is 32 3/8" from center of bb to the top of the saddle. While trying to remove the top cap of my new Supersix Evo, instead of the expander fixing bolt on top, the bottom counterpart of it became loose and fell into the fork. As it became stuck there, it took me 30 minutes until it finally managed to get it unstuck and out of the frame. Does anybody have an idea how I can prevent this from happening? Until now I didn't even manage to loosen the expander fixing bolt on top as only the bottom part is turning

Whoever assembled your bike probably used locktite. To be fair to them, it does say to use it in the Owner's Supplement. However, I don't recommend it and don't do it. In your picture it looks like the the compression nut is stuck to the expander fixing bolt. Is this true?friedrichk wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 12:52 amWhile trying to remove the top cap of my new Supersix Evo, instead of the expander fixing bolt on top, the bottom counterpart of it became loose and fell into the fork. Yes, correct. That was also my guess on why it is stuck. So I should, as soon as I manage to remove the nut, remove the loctite at the top and probably apply some at the bottom?johnpuga1982 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 1:47 amWhoever assembled your bike probably used locktite. I guess that's what I get for ordering from a big multibrand online shop instead of buying at my local bikeshop which has experience with these bikes

DO NOT APPLY LOCKTITE TO THE BOTTOM!!! That little piece that fell off is what causes the expander plug to expand inside the delter steerer tube. I've attached a video of the expander in action. It was a little hard to film and screw the expander plug with one hand. However, you should still be able to see how it works.friedrichk wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 2:02 amSo I should, as soon as I manage to remove the nut, remove the loctite at the top and probably apply some at the bottom?

What is the difference between the SSE 2023 and 2024? The 2023 (e.g. in Chalk white) is called a 3 by Cannondale, and the 2024 is called a 4. From what I can see they are 100% identical, and only difference is the colours? How good is the HiMod then vs these frames?
SSE Gen 4 is available as a 3 Model (105 Di2) or as a 4 Model (105 Mechanical).londonbairn wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 4:00 pmWhat is the difference between the SSE 2023 and 2024? Do the Hi-mod framesets ever get discounted in the US?
I see some references to sales earlier in the thread but it's unclear about location. I would like to build from parts but 4.5kusd is a little hard to swallow. I'm not in any clear rush so could wait for a sale if they do happen

A couple shops in the northeast US had discounts on Hi-Mod and Lab71 framesets a while back (Conte’s and Strictly Bicycles). I think Conte’s ships. Strictly would be pick up only. I think Mikes Bikes does sales every now and then. It’s a lot of luck to find one on sale in your size.AndyTheSnail wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 5:24 pmDo the Hi-mod framesets ever get discounted in the US?

Besides the post slippage (which seems to have been resolved with a new wedge), does this bike has any major know issues?
Hiw is the delta steerer holding up after a while? Any issues with it? And does it comes with a glued in compression plug?
