Tried another stem option. SL7 -12° with the specialized transition spacer. Not perfect but good enough.
Cables not routed clean yet.
this looks so good. maybe the sl7 stem is just generally aesthetically pleasing to me. also who doesn't love a slammed stem..

The weight difference of the Hi Mod never really seemed to hit a value level for me. The Evo 2 has always been a great level. And if you end up with two sets of carbon wheels, that's surely worth more (whatever you do with them) than the minor weight savings or potential future resale of the frame.
previous years i have ridden both SSE himods compared to "non HM" and the weight savings is not much but the ride quality IMO is significant.

Do you mean "ride quality" in terms of improved comfort / feel or stiffness and power transfer?

Ride quality IMO is subjective
My ride impression = Riding a $600 replica is like on a "pressure treated 2x4" BUT a himod is like responsive, lively, confident,.....

Not sure about the bike size (looks like a 54) but I know there was a close up picture of the cockpit on the previous page. He mentioned it being the SL7 -12°stem with the specialized transition spacer.

Its size 54. The smaller sizes have a slack head tube angle making the 12° stem lool like 10°.
Cockpit is a 140mm SL7 12D stem and a 36cm Zipp SL 80 Race handlebar (Shifters are 32cm actual width). I used the headset cover for the conceal stem and the specialized transition spacer for the SL7 stem. With some filing, it fits nice and looks quite clean.

those zipp bars are very very nice. a bit too reachy for me unfortunately... I wish they did a 70'ish mm reach version. maybe 70mm and a 80mm reach.

Which saddle do you use? Is that an unpadded Ali Power saddle?

Are there any folks 6'2 running either a 56 or 58 that can share side on photos? I'm trying to choose between the two sizes, thanks.

so how it looks is more important than how it fits ?
use your current bike stack and reach and that will get you close to what you should get.

So you'd rather talk trash than understand why he's asking the question? Let the man ask the question.

how tall are you? yeah, i find it interesting that the wheelbase for the 54 is 25mm longer than the 56 tarmac SL6 i'm coming from.
https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geomet ... 001a0bb52e,
makes me think riding a 54 with a longer stem like yours would actually fit me. i'm 6' even. though i think i'm gonna go with a 56 to stay comfortable with the extra stack.

Hi, very nice bike! What supersix model is this? Looks like a Supersix evo 3? Do you blacked out the silver parts of the fork?

Yes, Evo 3 and the silver areas are wrapped in gloss black.

I'm 180cm but shortish legs. Need all the reach i can get for my preferred position and the long front center of the 54 helps with that.

Better pic from today
