Hello everyone.
anyone tried the new Ploh/Lipa from Berk and can compare it to some other saddles?
i have tried alot of different saddles but always have problems with my pudic area in aero position (hands on hoods, paralel to ground)
it stops bloodflow and gets numb.
my bikefitter told me to try a saddle with bigger/wider area in the front to sit on.
i have tested:
alpitude gardene (i really like this on my gravel bike and in regular riding position (hands on hoods, semi stretched arms)
power
power arc
power mirror
prologo dimension ndr
pro team stealth
Berk lupina
alot of different options, all seems to have the same problem with the pubic area. cant really find any that fits me in the aero position.
as everything seems to stop blod flow.
i have tried tilting the tip down quiete a bit. but then i just keep sliding forward on the saddle and having to move back all the time.

I hate the way they look, but maybe an ISM saddle is something that would help with your problem...
No personal experience with them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngQHwX4 ... ingAcademy check out this video on SMP saddles.
ask selle smp for some test saddle (via their website)
they gave me the adresse of a german test center and i got 5 different saddles, which i was able to test for a month at no cost before returning them.
i went with the composit coming from berk lupina 132
in the meantime selle italia slr boost has become my favorite saddle, but the wide version
allthough the id match recommended the narrow one

i think the same is true for me, i dont need padding as i have ridden bare carbon saddle on both, mtb, orad and gravel with no problems on the sitbones, only problems is bloodflow for the pubic area.
Strongly recommend the Selle Italia Superflow series (except the TM because the padding is too soft on the TM). SLR Boost might work as well. This assumes that your saddle fitter has measured your sit bones, and you're trying saddles appropriate for your sit bone width. For me, I've found that saddles too wide can cause numbness and all sorts of blood flow problems.
