Hi ,bought some used Elite Disc wheels to fit my Cannondale Hi Mod Synapse QR frame
Bought the adapters to allow me to use the thru axle wheels but then noticed the hub is wider than what I was used to
When measure they have a 143 hub
What do I need to do to get them to fit ?
Is it just a case of buying smaller end caps ?

Most QR disc frame are 135mm wide.

Modern road TA standard is 142mm. But it's essentially just 135mm hub with different end cap which has 3.5mm extension each side to better fit into the indent of 142mm rear frame slot for easy wheel swap. The cassette and disc location is the same as 135mm wide hub.

You'll have to figure out your adapter. But I think the correct way to do it is to swap hub end cap to become 135mm QR rather than doing anything with the frame.

Thanks for the reply
Anyone know if it has to be an Elite End cap or will other manufacturers parts possible fit?
