I've always shied away from Tapatalk...why? I don't really know...maybe because dang near every forum I frequent insists on having me use it when browsing from my phone, so I grew to resent it. Maybe it's time to download it...do you mind sharing any thoughts? How do you like Tapatalk vs. the mobile site? Or even the desktop site?
Hi everyone, over the years I've noticed how dodgy this forum's reliability can be like all of you have likewise noticed. Yesterday was especially bad.
Last night, I got the name of the administrator who I need to contact regarding reliability. Let me investigate.

Noted on your point on activity. Let's try it out for a few weeks and if it doesn't work I'll see what I can do to make it better. I have lots of ideas on how to make this place better, but I don't have the keys to the house.
I am banging on a lot of doors, however.
It's winter and it's cold outside.

Yes I have been somewhat frustrated and I did have tapatalk but now they want money to upload pics and I would rather do my reading and picture sharing on the website instead of the app. I joined Paceline Forum when this site is not working proper.

Unfortunately we do know that we have some server issues (also affects our starbike.com shop frontend as both sites are on the same server). But seriously, I did not expect that it is that bad. We encounter periodically by the server denied requests. Every 5000 (??) requests 1 abort or so (very roughly estimated). Been in contact with the hosting provider several times but the very small lags (server aborts) are "too small" to be reproducable for the hoster

Absolutely surprising.. quite sure that the server never since start was 24 hours down. What did appear at the browser at that day?
We are browsing the forum regularly/daily and did not recognize these bad issues beside the above mentioned micro lags. Are there particular parts of the forum more affected than other? E.g. search, viewtopic, viewform, ... ?
