Hi!
Need to buy a new disc brake groupset (no crank, already have a Rotor Aldhu). Di2 is the way to go for me and I can't decide between the new DA or the new Ultegra. Quite a big price difference between the two. Any reason to go with the Dura-Ace version besides the weight?
Sincerely,
Benjamin

Not much difference that I am aware of other than weight. There are some advantages other than weight beween 105 Di2 and Ultegra/DA, but not betwen Ultegra and Dura Ace themselves - at least that I am aware of.

I’ve ridden both, there’s no difference at all other then weight (most of it in the cranks and cassette) and that Ultegra is greyish and DA all black.
So I’d go Ultegra with a light crankset (that you already have) and a DA cassette.

I ride both.
- Weight and material is the main difference.
- There are minor differences in the capacity of the derailleurs
- Ultegra rear deraileur has a total capacity of 39 instaed of 37.
- The Dura Ace front deraileur is suited for bigger chainrings.
- One thing I noticed is that the Ultegra front deraileur has a larger spread in terms of its min and max position.
- Ultegra cassettes should be more durable in theory.
- Dura Ace brake levers are more comfortable in the cold, due to being made of carbon.
Shift speed etc, are completely the same.

whatttt!!!! I thought they were the same.
It does however explains why the R9200 doesn't allow for shifting to small-small, unlike the R8100
