I have a 2021 Canyon Endurace which has the silly 15mm headset cover. I need to get the stem about 10mm lower. It would be a lot cheaper and easier to replace the tall cover with a lower stack version than to source a 1.25 -17 stem. Canyon's customer support tells me no such item is available from them. Is there an aftermarket alternative that will do the job? I'm UK based. Thanks.

Thanks. Would I need to convert the headset to normal (bung + top cap with screw) as well?

It is a 3D-printed carbon fiber reinforced nylon dust cover that I can make.
I realize now that you need a 1 1/4" dust cover, but it is easy to adjust the dimensions.
The weight should be around 0.7 grams.
Yes. It is written in the page of that cap.raggedtrousers wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:56 pmThanks. Would I need to convert the headset to normal (bung + top cap with screw) as well?
"*if you have a canyon and you want to replace the compression spacer weird thing you need a traditional top cap and expansion plug so you can compress the headset normally."

Then they don't know what they're talking about. They should have low profile dust covers in both round version for standard stem/spacers, and aero profiled one that matches up with the integrated cockpit and its spacers (though intended for the previous gen Aeroad it works fine on the Ultimate as well – I use it myself).raggedtrousers wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:48 pmCanyon's customer support tells me no such item is available from them.
Also do you not already have an expander plug fitted inside the fork? I was under the impression Canyon started fitting them to all bikes many years ago.
