Hi Weightweenies
Currently I'm building a new old bike and need your advise. Previously I use, BSA with 24mm spindle crank. Now I use BB30 standard.
Been wondering between these two budget BB30 crankset option.
1. Cannondale One 110BCD 5, swap to 50/34 chainring (the solid one, not the hollowgram)
or
2. FSA SLK Light 110BCD 5 50/34
I confused which one is lighter, stiffer or less problem.
Thank you!!

Neither of those. I would go with a SRAM Red 22 Exogram. Around 530g and you can find them for around $200-250 on the used market.

Depending on the frame. Exogram with the integrated spindle into the DS spider it is a short spindle BB30. 68mm shell.iamraymond wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 5:59 pmNeither of those. I would go with a SRAM Red 22 Exogram. Around 530g and you can find them for around $200-250 on the used market.

Good point. I assumed a 68mm shell because of the Cannondale option. But you’re right, swapping spindles would make the Cannondale cranks more universal compared to the Red 22 cranks.

At the first i thought that too! I've searched Sram Red 22 PF30, $150-$200 but only available spindle 172.5 and 175 in Indonesia. Too big for me 🥲iamraymond wrote:Neither of those. I would go with a SRAM Red 22 Exogram. Around 530g and you can find them for around $200-250 on the used market.
