I stated that because the OP seemed to be thinking that it might be a replacement for the current clincher 4 - Season, but instead I think this is a new 4 season tubeless tire and NOT a replacement for the current clincher.

I'm really happy about a less expensive 5000 tubeless tire. I've had really good luck with the first generation 5000 TL. at that price and weight, i think i prefer Pirelli Cinutrato velo. but i will wait for proper test before striking it off my list outright
Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.

- not HL compatible
- 1W slower than the Pirelli 4S per tire (and that's when the Cinturato is set up tubelessly, teh 4S with a giga-slow butyl tube)
- not a winter tire (winter tires are not just more puncture resistant, but should have special compound, that stays softer and more grippy, when it gets very cold)
- does not have a reflective sidewall, which can be a lifesaver in the dark season.
What ever you value of these, this tire has a lot of relatively unique things going for it.

What ever you value of these, this tire has a lot of relatively unique things going for it.
I use one as a winter tyre, it has great puncture resistance, and i think it has really great wet weather grip, we have a lot of wet roads in Denmark at winter, i have useed Hutchinson Sector, and that tyre was down right scary in the wet. And are you sure about the hookless? they weren't initially, but haven't they changed that?

I tried to Google for "hookless compatibility" and a review from 2021 says it is not! Don't know if anything has changed since.
Wet grip is very good, I agree. But to reiterate my point: a grippy tire in the wet is not the same as an actual winter tire. A proper all year tire should stay softer when it gets to around 0C or below. Normal road tires, regardless of how grippy they are become less melleable, and possibly porous, when water starts to solidify.
I have made pretty good experiences with the Conti 4Season, but wouldn't want a tubed tire anymore.

I went 7k on my Cinturato 28c TL - didn't have them off the rim or any punctures at all. Very good grip in Denmark. Considering whether to go back to them for winter or to try this new tire.
Does anyone know how wide they go? Would like at least 32c, possibly 35.

I don't know where you find your information, but on Pirelli's homepage, it says hookles compatible, just not more than 5 bars pressure.
