Hi,
I looking info about service for my Future Shox 2.0
My 2020 Roubaix has about 10.000 Km and more than 24 months.
Anyone has a dealer or factory service manual ?? I would make it myself!!
I know what Specialized write in the user manual but..........

Thank you in advance

And Specialized say:The Future Shock is designed to offer consistent performance for the life of the product. With a fully sealed design, the Future Shock assembly does not need service beyond wiping dirt and dust from the exterior. Should the rubber boot become fatigued from use, replacements are available, S209900002.

I dont know but

It's a moving mechanical component. You're right, in due time all such components need service.
Be glad it's not same cost as an automatic chronograph watch.
Anyway, there's a guy here at the forum who made an insert to replace the shock. Meaning no service and the fork is stiff instead.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

That guy is me honestly, after some riding with stiff fork i feel like whole future shock is over engineered gimmick, difference in comfort is similar to swapping to bigger tires with lower pressure (and I ran 25, 28, 32c gp5000 and 33c cx tires on that bike ).

Insert is machined from solid block of 7075 aluminium, I measured future shock, made technical drawing with some “improvements”: lower stack to slam the stem & standard 28.6mm diameter up top to fit normal stem without using that stupid shim Image I took block of aluminium that I got online along with drawing to local machinist and final product was ready to collect next day.Image
Wall thickness of the insert is stupidly oversized but I’d rather feel safe than save some extra grams Image weight saving is already pretty nice (336g vs 178g = 158g saved) but the priority was to:
1) lower stack height
2) make it 100% stiff
