Force AXS plasic chain ring cover failure is a common and well known problem and luckily, covered by warranty. Reach out to the bike shop where you have bought the part (or the bike) and initiate a replacement. And hope it will not take ages. I have sent back my Force AXS chainset more than 2 months ago and still nothing - meanwhile I have upgraded to SRAM Red.

Lucky thing is the plastic cover is really just a cover, so you can ride the bike without any problems.
My LBS submitted the claim with pictures, so hopefully I'll be able to ride it until a replacement comes in, if they approve it. I'm one month out of warranty, but I'm hoping SRAM will go ahead and cover it if it's a well known issue. I'll keep this thread updated.
