I still can't wrap my head around why they chose to make the steerer D-shape. If the Scott Addict RC can accept internal routing with a
round oversized steerer, why can't Giant?
I'm guessing they wanted to reduce the size of the head tube. A round steerer would require a bigger bearing or more slender bearing.
I don't like the D steerer because it's inherently less strong and has stress raisers in the corners of the D.

Addict is known for having a weird steeter tube design. They place the tube 3mm behind where it should be and
Scott itself calls it an eccentric idea. You should cite Tarmac SL7 instead. It just has a plain rounded normal size tube, yet routes the cables internally and even supports mechanical shiftings.
I'd rather be surprized the new Propel, Ultimate and Foil are apprently with BB86 but this may be a sign of BB86 DUB taking a 29mm spindle with longevity.

Yeah, it seems like the oversized steerer brands (Giant, Scott, Canyon) are still firmly in the BB86 camp. It'll be nice to see BB386EVO imo.
I still prefer OD2 over OD1 though for the added stiffness.

I haven't checked the prices in Australia but I'm sure that they will also be corrected soon if the Propel with Sram Force is at 7800 AUD currently. Maybe they published dealer prices and not MSRP by mistake?

Can't see Giant doing something like that.

Just got Canadian prices from a Giant Dealer here (in CAD)
SL 0 (Dura-ace) $14,999
SL 1 (Force) $10,999
Advanced Pro 0 (Force) $7,899
Advanced 1 (Rival) $5,899
So the Advanced Pro 0 costs $7900 CAD vs $8000 USD in the US. How does that make sense haha

The 8k USD pricing looked like a placeholder, given the round number, asterix and that force usually runs at a small premium to ultegra. But who knows.
