I have half a bottle of Silca lude that has gotten thick. I probably left the cap open.
What should I use to thin it out (acetone, alcohol, water, other)?

You could just warm the bottle before applying... or buy another bottle and add its contents to the "thick" bottle. If you really want to add something, I would say add the tiniest amount of distilled or deionized water.

From what I understand the wax is mixed with water as the carrier agent in the Silca Wax drip lube.

Send a mail to Silca.
Hopefully they'll provide some better and useful answer than :"... it's a super secret ingredient that you can't find anywhere on earth besides here at Silca, so better order a new bottle..."
I'm curious to hear what would come out from this, please come back and tell us :).

Louis :)
