Looks like the ones above are lighter but that is because Quarq is pretty heavy it seems.

But it is one thing seeing these Chinese cranks on the internet, another one to actually be able to buy it. Question of warranty, support, or proof of quality is probably out the window.

It also appears to be SRAM 8-bolt based so I'm curious to see if it can bolt up to a RED chaining or Quarq spider like the Sturdy titanium offering.

Agreed. Neutron and Skypivot were buried by QC issues and design flaws respectively so fingers crossed Elilee doesn't share their fate. Cycling100 and The Speed Formula in NZ are probably the only guys retailing high end Chinese brands outside of China right now and neither carry Elilee.

I believe EXS are also working on a crankset of their own? possibly co-developed with Elilee like their upcoming cockpit. Widesine may come out with a crank too. Exciting times ahead!

It is not SRAM 8-bolt base spider, it uses Easton CINCH locking base.

I have a feeling that the 290g version is just how the 24mm Ti spindle option will be marketed. There's a 22g difference between the SRM Origin 24mm Ti (94g) and 30mm Alloy (116g) spindles so a 30g difference for the Elilee doesn't seem too far off once you factor in the 28mm-to-DUB/30mm conversion shim.

Besides, there just isn't enough economies of scale to justify developing two different layups for the carbon arms.

Interesting to see what the lightest carbon crankset + PM + pedals value for the money would be.

I did some quick math before, THM Clavicula SE road incl bolts should be ish 320g + chainring approximately 89g (Garbaruk 48T) + Garmin Rally RS200 for PM 320g = 729g

My RED AXS DUB D1 with Quarq is 491g + crank bolt 15g + chainring bolts 7g + chainring 105g (Garbaruk 48T) + Dura ace pedals 249g (*234g for R9100) = 867g (*852)

That is a 138 or 123g weight saving. Of course, much much more expensive but not unrealistic. +- a few grams depending on 110 or 130 BCD on THM.

Strange. My Red DUB 170mm crankset with Quarq Dzero is 464g. With my Xpro 15 pedals (176g), the weight is nearly the same as THM cranks + Rally pedals for a far far lower cost.

so it will be 320+9+ chainring approximately 89g + pedals of your choice

Yes but the THM powermeter is just ridiculously overpriced and only one-sided power measurements and NOT double sided like Quarq or pedals

A €1000 euro for single sided power meter and that electronic piece weighs 9 gram? Unreal For that kind of money it is better to spend even more and get the SRM THM version. Not many people are willing to spend €2300-2700 Euro on a crankset.

From what i remember that my clavicula se pm was ~2100 eur vs 1250 eur non pm, wether i will be better off with non pm and for example assioma set i really dont know. I use it for hillclimb racing only so having dual side measurement is not crucial. for training / mass start racing it is overkill for sure.

I have a skypivot in my other bike and iam really happy with the improved version. If only i could get another pair - it will be great

but i am extremly disappointed with xcadey wich i have in my gravel bike along with lightning crankset when comparing it to sigeyi or power2max. The acurracy is far of any boundaries and usually shows ~20-30% too much. so i bought another sigeyi for this and want to get rid off this xcadey
