On the other hand, they admit to issue, which ALL manufactures have had in the past!
Also, i have used the 9100 and the XTR rotors on 9200 calipers and they have never caused me a single issue. The 10% larger gap is a big difference.
Can you have 12s shifters and calipers on 11s gears?
you can use the new calipers on the old shifters. Should give you the 10% more clearance if it actually exists (probably only marketing)
It does an it is a game changer. Will work significantly better with new shifters through.
Have old shifters new calipers on the TT bike and it's not perfect. Road bike is perfect.
What do you mean by not perfect?

This rotor in real world looks better than I initially anticipated from product shot.
1) minimal amount of slits, minimize pumping loss. That, we already know from product shot.
2) Look at 2nd picture. The black part barely curve out of the frontal shadow of the steel brake track. The heat sink looks more like rear fairing rather than a "fan blade" shape of prior Dura-Ace rotor.
3) Spiders are enclosed. It's not a square rod like SM-RT900 but rather, more like triangle rod.
4) Mounted to the wheel, this one came dead straight out of the box. Unlike my prior Shimano rotors.

Can't find anything online or in the forum,

Wondering if you guys have any idea of the Newer 12 speed BR-R9270 calipers will work with the old 11 speed dura ace levers?

Can't see why not..?

Anybody tried this?
Yes, it is working very well, for example in one of my bikes.

Here you have many information about it from other people.

And it is not marketing, bigger space for rotors truly exists.

I like how they make their old rotors look like trash with graphs like that
Trash? They're claiming half a mm of deformation after a full minute of (I assume this I what the X axis means) sustained braking. Honestly doesn't sound that bad to me.

I've had one straight Shimano rotor (was DA) in the last 5-6, fingers crossed for these when ordered.

Sample size of one, but now running a 160mm RT-CL900 on the front of my gravel bike, replacing an XTR one. It's the first Shimano rotor I've had that's almost completely true out of the box. After about 200km it hasn't warped noticeably. Pad chatter when braking hard is less than the XTR - I guess it's due to the different shape of the machined slots. Hopefully they won't descend into the usual shitshow of warping and constant trueing after 1000-1500km. Based on limited initial experience and Shimano's own data, if you trust it, I'd say they're an upgrade over XTR, and certainly previous DA. Wish they did them in 180 too.

Same here. I bought 2x 140mm and 1x 160mm. They are not "dead straight", but it is hard to notice any movement. It is very easy to adjust calipers with these rotors.

Is there a spreadsheet somewhere to help pick between all the shimano rotors? There are tons and "SM-RT64" doesn't really speak to me

Almost 1000km now. Still the same impression. Virtually no warping or need to true it. Sample size of one, but this particular unit is the best reasonably light road rotor I've used.
