Trek's finally listed this on their recall page. Looks like it applies to 2 of their bars.

Speed Concept base bar & RSL handlebar/stem combo recall

When I change the region to Germany and find the recall page, it switches back to the US. Is this recall only for the US? Where can I find the EU version of this?

For those who've switched to the temporary solution, which stem and bar did they install? Curious since they say you can keep it. The $100 voucher is nice, too.

Thanks for spotting it. I've been periodically looking at that page the last couple weeks.
My retailer said they dont' have the temporary replacement bar/stem combo yet. So am I supposed to just sit here and wait...

i know at my local bike shop trek sent out replacement carbon bars the ones with the increased comfort.

Hey all, just to provide clarity and to confirm the above, Trek is currently undergoing an investigation into the Aeolus RSL VR-C handlebar/stem here in the USA with the CPSC. We don't have complete details to share yet, but once we do, and a solution is in place that meets the CPSCs and our requirements, we will have an active recall. We would advise against riding these handlebars in the meantime.

Hi Mitch. Is there an EU recall document? The EU site only links to the US version. Any update on what the temporary components are and what the permanent replacement will look like?

Just wanted to ask if anyone has heard anything more on this? I know there's an updated Speed Concept base bar which were also recalled, but haven't heard about the RSL VR-C bars/stem yet.

I've got an Emonda 'scheduled' to be delivered next week which has these bars specced on it, but I guess it's either going to be late, have different bars/stem fitted, or more likely both. Am currently waiting to hear back from my LBS to find out what news they have but also wanted to ask here too.

My shop just got the replacement bar and stem in. I didn't ask what it was, but I'll find out as soon as a few parts for my Orbea show up so I can kill two birds with one trip going to them.
